Cranberry Gin Smash Holiday Cocktail with Drunk & Sparkly Orange

Cranberry Gin Smash

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz gin

  • 1 oz cranberry juice

  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 4-6 fresh cranberries

  • 4-6 fresh sprigs of rosemary

  • Drunk & Sparkly® Orange Slices

  • Ice

  • Soda water (club soda) for topping off

  • Lime wheel or cranberries for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Start by chilling your glass. Place it in the freezer for a few minutes, or fill it with ice and water to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

  2. In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh cranberries. Muddle them gently to release their flavors.

  3. Add the gin, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.

  4. Fill the shaker with ice. Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously to chill the mixture for 10-15 seconds.

  5. Discard the ice from the chilled glass and strain the cocktail into it.

  6. Top off the glass with soda water (club soda) to your desired level of dilution. You can add more or less depending on your taste.

  7. Garnish your Cranberry Gin Smash with the Orange wheel, a few cranberries, and a sprig of fresh rosemary.

Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup, and you can also experiment with different types of gin to find your preferred flavor profile. Cheers!
